The main fight European championship in lightweight is between Edis Tatli vs Frank Urquiaga.

On the fightcard we do even find Robert Helenius in a 6 rounds bout vs Yury Bykhautsou from Gomel, Belarus.

Karo Murat vs Sven Fornling am 15.09.2018 um IBO WM

Karo Murat wird seinen IBO-Titel am 15.09.2018 auf Spiel setzen. Er wird gegen den starken Schwede Sven Fornling in der Hansehalle in Lübeck boxen.

Es handelt sich also um zwei ECB Boxer gegen einander, ECB-Boss Erol Ceylan wird also so wie so gewinnen.

Es ist einen Traum für Sven Fornling diese Chance um die Weltmeisterschaft boxen zu dürfen. Sven ist so motiviert das er ab jetzt jeden Tag trainiert und sich nur auf diesem Kampf fokussiert.

Für die Boxfans wird es ein Genuss, zwei Schläger, die Hart vorwärts gehen. Ein sehr harter Kampf ist zu erwarten und der Ausgang ist völlig offen. So macht Boxen Spaß!

Maria Lindberg hat gewonnen

Diesmal hat Maria Lindberg im Gericht gewonnen. Es war keinen Boxkampf, sondern einen Kampf um ihren Ruf. Für Rufschädigung/Verleumdung wurde der Journalist Per-Åke Persson nun vom Gericht in Lund, Schweden, zu einer Geldstrafe verurteilt. Die Gesamtkosten für Persson zu zahlen beträgt etwa 60.000:- SEK.

Lange hat Persson wie einen Schatten Lindberg verfolgt. Wurde einen Kampf mit Maia Lindberg geplant hat er über ihr Schaden im Amateurkampf 1999 die Beteiligten informiert und sie verunsichert ob sie wirklich Maria Lindberg engagieren sollen. Somit hatte Lindberg immer auch außerhalb der Ring zu kämpfen um überhaupt Boxkämpfe zu bekommen. Der Schwedischer Verband suspendierte Lindberg von Boxen, aber mit Hilfe von Ärzte und Funktionäre in Deutschland bekam sie ihr Profilizenz bei BDB, Deutschland. Maria Lindberg wohnt in Hamburg.

Bei einer Boxveranstaltung von ECB in Hamburg 2016 war Persson als Journalist dabei. Maria boxte nicht dort, aber sie war als Zuschauer anwesend. Persson hat erst mehrere Tagen danach bei der Polizei in Schweden, nicht in Deutschland wo die Veranstaltung war, eine Anzeige gegen Unbekannt abgegeben. In der Anzeige behauptet Persson dass er wurde gedroht und hat eine Morddrohung erhalten. Kein andere Anwesender bei der Veranstaltung hat davon etwas mitbekommen. Persson beschuldigte Maria Lindberg für da hinter zustehen und nannte sie The Killer etc. Auf die Anschuldigungen lass sich Lindberg nicht sitzen, sondern reichte eine Klage wegen Verleumdung beim Gericht in Schweden ein.

Am 29.06.2018 kam der Urteil. Persson darf Lindberg so nicht diffamieren und wurde zu einer Geldstrafe verurteilt.

140lb rising stars ready to compete for IBF World Title and Ali Trophy

The IBF Super-Lightweight Championship will be contested between Anthony Yigit and his IBF Mandatory Ivan Baranchyk in one of the quarter-finals of the World Boxing Super Series after both fighters enter the tournament.

26-year-old Yigit ( 21-0-1, 7 KOs) from Sweden competed at the London 2012 Olympics losing by a single point to eventual silver medallist Denys Berinchyk. He is the EBU European Super-Lightweight Champion and IBF Mandatory and is now bringing his explosive and entertaining style to the World Boxing Super Series.

“It’s a great opportunity and I’m honored to have been chosen to fight among the best in the division,” said Yigit.

“This Ali Trophy tournament is a great example of how boxing should be promoted: the best fighting the best. That’s where I want to be and these are the fighters I want to face!”

25-year-old Ivan Baranchyk (18-0, 11 KOs) from Belarus is an IBF Mandatory, comes from a solid amateur career and he won the world championship as a junior in 2009. As a professional, he has lived up to his ‘The Beast” moniker.

“I am really happy to be a part of the tournament because there are chances to take all the titles and show everyone that I am the best in the division,” said Baranchyk.

“My nature, effort and my love of boxing will help me to get the Ali Trophy.”

Three weight classes will feature in Season II of the World Boxing Super Series with two categories, Bantamweight and Super-Lightweight, already announced.

Maria Lindberg fighting the WBC-title 25.05.2018

The Swedish boxer Maria Lindberg is now getting the title-fight in her normal weightclass. It is a challenge of the WBC World title of superwelterweight.

The bout takes part in Warzaw, the homecountry of Ewa Piatkowska, the holder of the WBC title. At 25.05.2018 the event is on.

Maria has been in training and preparing for fight for long time. She is looking forward to this opportunity. Other options like fighting Shields in USA stocked on permissions. With this WBC fight is Maria Lindberg very happy, it is her big chance for a real big title.

Boxing in Malta at 19.05.2018

Prize Boxing Promotions continue their succesful fight nights with „Locked ´nd loaded“ on Saturday 19th May in Corradino Sports Pavillion, Paola, Malta.

The mainfight will be between Christian „Coqqos“ Schembri vs Richard „Viper“ Vella. The two good friends will get to know who will be the Maltese Champ. Schembri is getting into the ring, coached by the legendary Donny Lalonde. Viper is getting coached from Barry Smith.

Very exciting will be the rematch between Steve „Super“ Martin vs Francesco Lezzi.

Hatihem Laamouz is back on the Rock and he will even rock the event. Laamouz has a succesful boxing career he´s runing in Australia and now he´s back home for this fight.

Worth watching is the quick Maltese boxer Kerstin „The Bullet“ Brown.

The Swedish boxer Niclas Elfstedt living in Malta is fighting his first professional boxing fight!

Pro fights will even be with Lydon „Beqqu“ Chircop and Brandon Borg!

„Locked ´nd loaded“ will be a great boxing event!

Albon Pervizaj boxt in Schweden

Am 21.4. kommt es in Sundsvall zum Schwedischen Showdown im Schwergewicht zwischen Otto Wallin und Adrian Granat um die EU-Europameisterschaft, das Event wird in einer Co-Promotion zwischen Team Sauerland und EC Boxpromotion durchgeführt.
Mit von der Partie ist auch Albon Pervizaj, der Hamburger Schwergewichtler vom Team Sauerland wird gegen den Irakli Gvenetadze, Rechtsausleger aus Georgien, boxen und will seine makellose Bilanz ausbauen.

Der Schützling von Ulli Wegner und Georg Bramowski feut sich wieder im Ring zu steigen zu dürfen.
Die SPORT1-Übertragung beginnt ab 20.00 Uhr, über den Kampfabend werden Sarah Valentina, Axel Schulz sowie Tobias Drews berichten.
