At the General Assembly of European Boxing Union, EBU, in Riga, Latvia, was Petr Stucki, Swiss-Boxing, elected to the new president.
The medical careness and the necessary of MRI was theme on the assembly.
Next years Assembly will be hold in Malta, after MBA asked to host the General Assembly 2023.
Malta Boxing Association, MBA, is sanctioning an event at Hilton, St Julians, on the 30th March 2022. A co-promotion between Noel Mercieca and Kamran Kabinejad.
The fightcard is filled up with quality boxers from Sweden. Niclas Elfstedt has convinced his friends in Sweden to come and box in Malta. Beside Niclas we find Pezhman Seifkhani, so it will definitely be an event with great fights.
Fightcard of professional boxing:
The light heavy boxer from Libya with MBA-license is scheduled to fight in Bruxelles on 28.03.2021 vs the Chechnyan Timur Nikarkhoev. The record of Timur is 22-3-0 and ranked #76 in the world. A very good opponent for Malik who must take this pugalist very seriously. That Malik is convinced and self-confident is obvious. The bout is scheduled of 8 rounds.
In 2019 did Malik got a contract from Univerum to fight James Kraft. The fight did not come, first had James catched-a-cold, but met an easier opponent and after that he changed weight-class. The preparation for the fight and to have signed a contract and then no fight came up made Malik disappointed and upset. In the interview he blames James to be cowered.
In Germany on Saturday Willaim Scull won the IBO Interational title. An opponent that Malik could have fought but his contract with Only O1ne had a fight on 7th Mach in France signed. The event in France got cancelled and now will Zinad „The Trigger“ go for a tough fight in Belgium on 28th March instead. Maybe a title fight vs William Scull will be possible this year. A fantastic match-making.
Malik Zinad was traied from Donny Lalonde, who praised Malik and said he´s even better as he was himself as an active boxer. These compliments from a great champ like Donny let us know that Malik has real skills. The Libyan fighter dreams of being world champion. He would even be ready to fight Saul Alvarez. Canelo has his peaks and may be on his way down and Malik on his way up. Maybe such a match-making will come through in a year or two. Nothing is impossible.
A very thrilling fight will go on at 28.03.2921. It´s soon time to rumble.
The Swedish boxer Niclas Elfstedt will arrange his first boxing event. On Saturday 27th March 2021 it will be in Intercontinental Hotel, St Julains, Malta. On his first event he will not be fighting himself. The Gladiator´s Fight Night will contain three professional boxing bouts.
The Maltese Claire Sammut will get in the ring on an 8 round bout in lightweight. Claire´s opponent is from Iceland, Valgerdur Gudstensdottir. Professional boxing is prohibited in Iceland. Maybe Malta will be the new place for events for boxers from Iceland.
Other fighters in the ring will be boxers from Niclas homecountry Sweden. In heavyweight Pezhman Seifkhani from Örebro, with all his 10 bouts with victories, 7 KOs.
In heavy light we find Marco Calik, 11-1-0, Croatian boxer active in Örebro, Sweden.
Limited event for 100 spectators as a dinner evening.

In Rome will Haithem Laamouz, Malta, fight about the EU-title vs Mario Alfano. In Italy the bout is on 12 rounds in super featherweight. Referee Massimo Barrovecchio.
At Boxrec the boxers are ranked #226 and #252. A nice title fight with good matvhmaking.
Haithem is prepared to bring the title to Malta. The Maltese pugilist lived for a while in Australia, where he won titles like New South Wales State Super Light Title, OPBF Super Light Title and Australian Light Title. Back in Malta he won the WBC Mediterranean Super Feather Title. So now The Flash is ready for great EBU title of vacant EBU European Union Super Feather Title.

The super welterweight boxer Moez Zinad left for a while the island of Malta, where he´s living, to train in Germany. In Hamburg the promising boxer will prepare and do sparring with ohter boxers. He has 3 professional bouts, which he all won, and is licensed by MBA, Malta Boxing Association.
To optimize his skills and and looking for opportunities he went to the boxing-town Hamburg. The question if he would be willing to fight in the end of the monh of any event in Germany, he answers he find 10 days would be enough preparation for him, so yes he will.
Moez dreaming of getting in the ring with Golden Jack Culcay, one of Germany´s best boxers.

After the Covid 19 situation boxing events starting slowly up again, with limited audience and like on 31.07.2020 at Monte Kristo in Luqa, Malta as an open-air event. In the ring we will see the strong light heavyweight fighter from Libya living in Malta „The Trigger“ Malik Zinad.
Beside Malik will even his younger brother Moez Zinad make his 3rd professional fight.
The Swedish boxer Clarence Goyeram is now living in Malta, like Niclas Elfstedt, and even Clarence will take part on this event.
On the ladies side we find Claire Sammut (Claire Ciantar) entering the ring as well.
