Der Profi Boxstall von Ismail Özen-Otto bleibt trotz Corona-Pandemie auch künftig am Ball und nimmt weitere Talente unter Vertrag. So auch den talentierten Frank Zaldivar aus Kuba. Der 24-Jährige ist seit seiner Jugend ein fester Bestandteil der Kubanischen Nationalmannschaft und hat mehrere nationale Titel erkämpfen können. Zu seinen größten Erfolgen zählt die WSB World Series of Boxing, die er dreimal für sich gewinnen konnte. Bei diesem mehrmonatigem Turnier treten die größten Talente weltweit gegeneinander an. In 2016 und 2018 gewann er beide Male zusammen mit seinem Teamkollegen aus der Nationalmannschaft, José Larduet, welcher heute ebenfalls bei Universum unter Vertrag steht. Nun können sie wieder Seite an Seite zeigen, dass beide an die Weltspitze gehören. Larduet ist sich sicher: „Frank ist eine echte Granate, der wird garantiert Weltmeister!“
Ismail Özen-Otto ist begeistert von Zaldivar: „Als ich den Jungen sah, hat er mich sofort an Yuriorkis Gamboa erinnert. Er ist technisch eine glatte 1, schnell, flink und hat Dynamit in den Händen. Ich freue mich sehr ihn schon bald präsentieren zu dürfen.“
Am 24. April wird Frank Zaldivar auf BILD+ ab 19:30 Uhr den nächsten Kampfabend starten. Im Hauptkampf dieses Abends werden Artem Harutyunyan und Oliver Flores um den WBA International Titel im Leichtgewicht kämpfen.
Universum`s Matchmaker, Flavio Oleaga Mirabal, der während seines Talentscoutings Zaldivar sichtete, hat gleich für den ersten Kampf bei Universum den Auftrag von Özen-Otto bekommen, einen Gegner aus den TOP150 zu wählen. „Wir brauchen keine Zeit mit dem Jungen zu verschwenden, der boxt schon auf sehr hohem Niveau. Boxstars wie Ryan Garcia und Gevonta Davis dürfen sich schon bald auf Zaldivar freuen.“
In Rome will Haithem Laamouz, Malta, fight about the EU-title vs Mario Alfano. In Italy the bout is on 12 rounds in super featherweight. Referee Massimo Barrovecchio.

Haithem is prepared to bring the title to Malta. The Maltese pugilist lived for a while in Australia, where he won titles like New South Wales State Super Light Title, OPBF Super Light Title and Australian Light Title. Back in Malta he won the WBC Mediterranean Super Feather Title. So now The Flash is ready for great EBU title of vacant EBU European Union Super Feather Title.
