Zu WM-Kämpfen mit Zeuge und Murat – Don King kommt nach Hamburg!
Am 24. März findet in der Hamburger edel-optics.de Arena die gemeinsame Box-Gala von EC Boxpromotion und Team Sauerland statt. Unter dem Titel „Blitz & Donner“ werden u.a. Tyron Zeuge (WBA-Weltmeisterschaft im Super-Mittelgewicht) gegen Isaac Ekpo sowie Karo Murat (IBO-WM im Halbschwergewicht) gegen Travis Reeves an den Start gehen.
Und morgen kommt auch noch Don King! Der legendäre 86-jährige Boxpromoter aus den USA landet morgen früh in Hamburg, will sich den Kampf seines Schützlings Isaac Ekpo gegen Tyron Zeuge natürlich nicht entgehen lassen.
Promoter Nisse Sauerland: „Don King ist auch mit 86 Jahren immer noch für einen großen Auftritt gut. Wir freuen uns sehr, dass er nach Hamburg kommt!“
Natürlich wird King – allein durch seine Anwesenheit, markante Sprüche und wildes Fähnchenschwenken – versuchen, das Gespann Tyron Zeuge und seinen Trainer Jürgen Brähmer aus dem Konzept zu bringen.
Wird wohl nicht klappen, denn insbesondere Brähmer kennt die Spielchen Kings sehr gut. Darauf hat er auch seinen Schützling Tyron Zeuge eingestellt. Die Vorgeschichte: 2013, vor dem WM-Kampf gegen Marcus Oliveira in Neubrandenburg, hielt King die gesamte Live-Übertragung für eine Viertelstunde auf, weil er spontan auf die Idee kam, dass sein Boxer (Oliveira) nicht als Erster in den Ring gehen sollte.
Abgesprochen war dies vor dem Kampf natürlich nicht… Kings Psycho-Spielchen tangierten Brähmer allerdings überhaupt nicht. Der Schweriner gewann klar nach Punkten und holte sich den vakanten WM-Titel im Halbschwergewicht.
Zudem dürfen sich die Zuschauer u.a. auf das Duell der „Hamburger Jungs“ zwischen Sebastian Formella und Angelo Frank (IBO Intercontinental Title / WBO Europe Title). Dazu gibt es noch Fights mit Klara Svennson, Araik Marutjan, Agron Smakici, Albon Pervizaj und Ali Eren Demirezen.
„Gewinner des Abends wird das Publikum sein!“
Selten waren sich Promoter, Boxer und Trainer auf einer Pressekonferenz so einig wie heute im Stadthotel Hamburg. Die Promoter Erol Ceylan (EC Boxpromotion) und Nisse Sauerland, die am 24. März in der Edel-Optics.de Arena (live auf SPORT1) gemeinsam veranstalten werden, sagten: „Gewinner an dem Abend wird das Publikum sein!“
Grund für diese Aussage ist natürlich das starke Programm in Hamburg. Neben der WBA-Weltmeisterschaft im Super-Mittelgewicht zwischen Tyron Zeuge und Isaac Ekpo, wird auch Karo Murat (EC Boxpromotion) um eine WM boxen. Der Berliner will sich mit einem Sieg über den US-Amerikaner Travis Reeves (15-2-2) den Weltmeisterschafts-Gürtel der IBO schnappen. Murat verspricht: „Ich möchte in meiner Heimat Deutschland Weltmeister werden. Ich verspreche den Fans einen Knallerkampf von der ersten Runde an.“
Zudem steht das „Hamburg-Duell“ zwischen Sebastian Formella (genannt Hafen-Basti, 17-0-0) und Angelo Frank (13-1-0) auf dem Programm. Im Super-Weltergewicht geht es für die Hamburger Jungs gleich um zwei Titel (IBO Intercontinental und WBO Europe Title).
Angelo Frank: „Ich schätze Basti als Sportler und Freund, aber am Ende werde ich gewinnen.“ Sebastian Formella konterte: „Ich glaube, ich werde immer eine Hand mehr drin haben und die Gürtel mit nach Hause nehmen!“ Schöne Geste: Der Sieger will das gegnerische Team anschließend zum Essen einladen!
Zudem werden Ali Eren Demirezen (gegen Michael Wallisch um den WBO Europe Title), der Hamburger Albon Pervizaj (gegen Andre Bunga/Aachen) sowie Araik Marutjan, Agron Smakici (beide Hamburg) sowie Klara Svensson aus Malmö/Schweden (17-2-0) an den Start gehen.
Sauerland-Geschäftsführer Frederick Ness freut sich: „Wir haben eine tolle Zusammenarbeit zwischen EC und Sauerland. Das wird eine großartige Veranstaltung mit einem tollen Programm.“ Und mit einem vollen Haus! EC-Sprecher Steffen Soltau: „Es sind nur noch knapp 500 Karten verfügbar, wir rechnen mit ausverkauftem Hause am 24. März!“

Klara Svensson fights 24.03.2018 in Hamburg
At the great event on 24.03.2018 in edel-optics.de-Arena will Klara Svensson fight a bout of 8 rounds in welterweight. It will be her 20th bout as a professional. Klara started her professiona career in Hamburg at ECB and now she is back where it all began. Klara left ECB and got a contract with Sauerland. Her coaches nowadays are Ulli Wegner and Georg Bramowski.
The event has a fantastic fightcard with Karo Murat vs Travis Reeves in a titlle fight of the IBO World title of light heavyweight. Furhter title fights will be Tyron Zeuge vs Isaac Ekpo boxing about the WBA title, Sebastain Formella vs Angelo Frank about the IBO InterConti + WBO Europe and Ali Demirezen vs Michael Wallisch about the WBO Europe in heavyweight.
Agron Smakici is as well on the fightcard as Albon Pervizaj and Araik Maruthan.

Dimitrenko is prepared for Adrian Granat
The 2,01 m high athlete Alexander Dimitrenko is feeling well to come to Sweden. Sascha has never been in Sweden before and is glad to see the Nordic country. He is convinced to come and win; vene, vidi, vice! I came, I saw, I won!
For Sascha it is no problem to be the underdog, it makes less pressure on his shoulders. He is feeling in good condition and will show the Swedish boxing fans how an old-schooled boxer is winning the fight. Alexander knows it will not be an easy fight. He has long experience and has been fighting about World Championship several times. He was even the European Champion of EBU.
The main fight of Rumble in Malmö will absolutely be a thrilling fight. This is a fight you shall definitely not miss.
Adrian Granat is fighting at home in Malmö, his hometown. Fo Swedish boxing fans a fantastic boxing event. Patricia Berghult from Höllviken is fighting Karina Kopinska. In the corner of Patricia we will find Klara Svensson.
Daniel Hartvig fights 4 rounds vs Pal Olah. Sven Fornling will make a thrilling fight and Simon Henriksson is even worth watching.
The very thrilling fight of the night will be expected of Igor Mikhalkin. His opponent is the Ukranian machine Yevgeni Makhteienko. Makhteienko´s fight vs Karo Murat was the fight of that night.

It’s official! Klara Svensson (17-1, 5 KOs) will challenge female pound-for-pound number one Cecilia Brækhus (29-0, 8 KOs) for the WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF Female World Welterweight titles on January 28 at the Oslo Spectrum in Norway.
The two fighters came face-to-face at a press conference today in the Norwegian capital ahead of their hotly anticipated Scandinavian showdown next month.
‘’I am looking forward to finally meeting Cecilia in the ring on January 28,’’ said Svensson. ‘’I have been dreaming about this opportunity for a long time, and I am happy that this fight has been confirmed. I have a lot of respect for Cecilia, she is a great athlete, but I’m very confident I can win.’’
Brækhus who returns to the Oslo Spectrum for a second time following her TKO victory over Anne Sophie Mathis in October, is equally confident of defeating her Nordic rival.
‘’My last fight ended quite quickly, I left the arena without any injuries and was able to return to training soon after,’’ said Braekhus. ‘’My goal for this fight is the same as my last. I’m going to be better than Svensson in every area – technique, tactics, strength and footwork. I will win and I will do it before the 10th round ends.’’
Said Team Sauerland promoter Nisse Sauerland: ‘’We’re happy to have finalised negotiations for this fight. This is going to be a great match-up for the fans. You have the current female pound-for-pound number one against the young hungry challenger, and the rivalry between Sweden and Norway will of course give it an extra spice. We believe Klara is ready for this fight, Cecilia has been a great champion, but now it is time for Klara to take her place at the top of the division!’’
