History will be made with a World Boxing Federation (WBF) double-header on Sunday December 18 at the Sportpalast in Bielefeld, Germany, when the worlds youngest licensed promoter to date, fifteen-year-old Ranee Schroeder, presents her first event.
WBF International Light Heavyweight Champion Malik Zinad, 6-0 (5), is set to make his first title-defense, taking on Georgian Beka Aduashvili, 19-8 (9), and Frenchman Jean Moraiti faces Michal Dufek from the Czech Republic for the vacant WBF International Lightweight title.
On the undercard, German Champions, at Light Heavyweight and Welterweight respectively, Elvis Hetemi, 6-0 (6), and Angelo Frank, 7-0 (4), will appear in non title bouts, fighting for free but requesting donations to support the family of stablemate Eduard Gutknect.
The German Boxing Association (GBA) has also decided to work the show for free, and has already donated the promoters license fee and the show fee to the family of Gutknect, who is currently in Hospital in Germany fighting for recovery from the injuries he suffered against George Groves last month.
23-year-old Southpaw-talent Malik Zinad, from Libya but based in Malta, won the WBF International Light Heavyweight title last September in Slovenia, when he, as part of the World Boxing Federation (WBF) World Convention in Maribor, stopped Hungarian Attila Palko in six rounds.
On that same night Jean Moraiti, 13-10-4 (1), lost the WBF International Light Welterweight crown to Mikheil Avakyan, but he has since rebounded with a victory and moved down to Lightweight in a bid to become a two-weight champion against Czech national titlist Dufek, 20-14-1 (14). Also on the line will be the vacant UBO Intercontinental title.
