Derek Chisora is back!

Derek is back

Former British and Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion Dereck Chisora has been reissued with a new British Boxing Board of Control license today.
As announced, Chisora will make his return to the ring on Saturday 20th April at Wembley Arena in a ten-round international contest, that also features WBO World Light-Heavyweight Champion Nathan Cleverly and Commonwealth Super-Featherweight Champion Liam Walsh, live and exclusive on BoxNation.The Londoner’s license was withdraw in April 2011 following his well documented behaviour surrounding his world heavyweight title challenge against Vitali Klitschko.

Chisora said, „I’m glad that this whole episode is finally behind me and I can carry on with my boxing career in my own country and with a British Boxing Board of Control license.  I would like to thank everyone who has kept faith me over the troubled months and I look forward to repaying their loyalty with my performances in the ring as opposed to my action outside of it.  I’d like to particularly thank the Luxembourg Boxing Federation for their support.“

Chisora’s promoter and manager Frank Warren who stood side-by-side with his fighter throughout his exile, said, „I’m delighted that the British Boxing Board Control has made the right decision and re-instated Dereck’s license and the slate is now clean.  He is an exciting fighter who always gives 100 percent.  We will announce who Dereck will be fighting at Wembley Arena shortly but it’s great to have him back in action and we’ve got some big plans for him.“

Ünsal Arik und Derek Chisora schenken an soziale Zwecke

Derek Chisora hat versprochen das er 20.000 GBP schenkt falls Haye wird ihn ausknocken. Nun hat er sein Versprechen eingehalten und einen Scheck i.H.v. £20,000 an The African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust, ACLT, übergeben.
David Haye ist Schirmherr für diese Organization die von Beverley De-Gale und Orin Lewis in 1993 nach der Diagnoze von Leukämie von ihrem Sohn Daniel De-Gale gegründet wurde.

Ünsal Arik, Supermittelgewicht, 13(13)-1(1)-0, hat seinen Gürtel WBF International ersteigert. Die  Firma InterNetX GmbH ersteigerte den Gürtel für 1500 Euro.

Lukas Schmid ist ein Rollstuhlfahrer, der in Regensburg im Pater-Rupert-Mayer-Zentrum sich befindet. Schmidt leidet an einer unheilbarer Krankheit. Er hat einen Traum, einen Arsenalspiel in London live zu erleben. Das ermöglicht jetzt Ünsal für ihn.
Ünsal hat ihn duch das Team Bananenflanke kennengelernt, die mehrere Projekte haben.

Am 24.12.2011 hat Ünsal gegen Turgay Uzun in Belgrad, Serbien, um WBF International geboxt. Weihnachten wird da orthodox im Januar gefeiert. Ünsal Arik dazu:

Frank Warren´s open letter to the BBBoC

I KNOW how annoyed you are your monopoly in controlling boxing in the UK ended as David Haye and Dereck Chisora fought in England after being licensed by the LBF following your withdrawal of Chisora’s licence.

Your attempts to stop him fighting Haye were futile.

It was an exciting event with both boxers settling their differences in the ring.

Even your scaremongering of crowd trouble was a fallacy.

But I wish to put my annoyance — after 32 years as a licence holder — on record at the way boxing is run here.

The current leadership is killing boxing and I, and other upset licence holders, want drastic changes so we can drag the Board of Control out of the dark ages.

I am calling for Charlie Giles, the President and Chairman to be replaced.

The outstanding candidate for the role is Lord Coe, a previous Steward, who has done such a marvellous job organising the Olympics.

I would also like more transparency in how and where licence-holders’ money is being spent.

I’m not against the BBB of C, I have supported it in the past and will do so again but I am against some of the very small group of out-of-touch Stewards who guide it.

I do not condone what happened between Haye and Chisora in Munich.

But by withdrawing Chisora’s licence after asking a small section of the media what punishment should be handed out, I feel you were slaves to a demand for instant justice to appease critics.

The Board cannot be prosecutor, judge and jury when they do not even regulate themselves properly.

It’s time for the Board to change for the better.

Frank Warren: Haye wollte nicht 12 Runden

Der Kampf am 14.07.2012 in London wurde bei FLB im Vertrag auf 10 Runden festgelegt. Nachher kam es zu Titelkämpfe um WBA und WBO International Heavyweight und sie dürften wohl eher als 12-Runden-Kampf zu erwarten. David Haye wollte zwar keine Änderung, er bestand darauf das den Vertrag auf 10 Runden abgeschlossen ist und soll auch so bleiben.

Somt glaubt Frank Warren es neigt zum Vorteil für Chisora. David hat schnelle Hände und Füsse und landen harte Schläge. Seine KO-Quote beträgt 85%.

Del Boy wird auch genau so gut sein wie gegen Vitali Klitschko, meint Warren. Es ist die Motivation für Derek, Revanche gegen Deutschland und einen Kampf gegen Wladimir Klitschko erreichen.

Der Kampf in West Ham wird mega, es kann kurz und süss sein oder einen Krieg in 10 Runden.

Derek Chisora selbst meint das David Haye ist ein Witz. Ein ehemaliger Champion der nur 10 Runden boxen will, was soll das?  Wir reden über den größten Boxkampf in Großbritannien. Wenn ich hörte das er keine 12 Runden akzeptiert habe ich verstanden das er kneift. Was für eine Entschuldigung bringt er diesmal wenn er verliert? Der Zäh wird es diesmal nicht. Wird es seine kleine Finger? Drei oder zehn Runden, Haye wird ausgeknockt, sagt Del Boy selbstbewusst.
