Maria Lindberg wants to fight Cecilia Braekhus

Maria Lindberg, World Champion of WIBF, GBU and WIBA in super welter/light middle-weight, is ready to fight Cecilia Braekhus. Cecilia is considering to change weight-class, so why not change to super welter. Even two years ago Maria said she is ready for Cecilia. The Norwegian Champion has met almost every female boxer and plans to change weight-class. This can be a great oppurtunity to see two excellent boxers in the ring. A very high class fight.

On the 25.07.2015 will Maria fight in Hamburg. Last bout Maria had an opponent with lot more weight then herself. Even this time is Maria prepared to meet a boxer with a weight of 76 kg. The opponent in discussion seems to have a weight right now of almost 80 kg and a positive record. This risk is Maria willing to take.

– I want to fight the best female boxers in the world. Let it be Cecilia Braekhus, Hanna Gabriel, Mikalea Laurén, Casalinuovo or a rematch against Chrisitna Hammer. Even Nikki Adler I would be ready to fight.

These boxers will be boxing title fights and Maria Lindberg just want to go in the ring and meet them. A very tough fighter is Maria. Let´s hope to see some great title fights with Lindberg very soon.

Maria Lindberg fordert härtere Gegnerinnen

Maria Lindberg hat am Samstag 30.05.2015 die unbesiegte Elena Sikmashvili in zweite Runde ausgeknockt. Die Gegnerinnen gehen für Maria aus. Maria möchte härtere Gegnerin. Sakmashvili ist 13 cm größer und wiegt 5 kg mehr und ging trotzdem KO vor Maria!

Demnächst steht ein IBF WM-Kampf gegen Paola Gabriela Casalinuovo, 12(12)-0-0, in Argentinien vor.

Am 30.05.2015 boxt Maria Lindberg 6 Runden gegen Elene Sikmanshvili,, 7(3)-0-0, aus Tblisi, Georgien.

Das Event wird in Hamburg in der Boxsporthalle am Braamkamp stattfinden. In der Ringecke von Maria werden wir der „König aus Wandsbek“ Artur Grigorian finden. Artur erwartet ein KO-Sieg von Maria!

Maria Lindberg boxing 30.05.2015 in Hamburg, Germany

The title fight in Argentina on the 16.05.2015 has been postponed. Maria´s opponent has got an injury. Maria decided with her coach Artur Grigorian to do a fight in the meantime. It will be a fight of 6 rounds. Artur Grigorian means it´s important that Maria goes into the ring and make a fight now as she has been preparing for the big fight for several weeks. It is better to do a fight as just keep on waiting of the new date of the title fight.

Maria Lindberg is living in Hamburg and she is training here with the former great champion Artur Grigorian. Both Maria and Artur are happy to be able to have Maria in a fight in Hamburg on the show of Holger Petersen at Braamkamp.

Tickets: VIP 70,- €, seats 35,- €

Maria Lindberg will fight in Buenos Aires at 16.05.2015 about IBF world champion

The champion of GBU, WIBF and WIBA light middleweight Maria Lindberg has now got the contract signed from the unbeaten Argentinian Paola Gabriela Casalinuovo, 12(12)-0-0. The fight will take place in Buenos Aires at the 16.05.2015.

Maria knows it will be a very hard fight. Casalinuovo has won all her fights and all won on KO!!

In Hamburg is Maria training with her great coach Artur Grigorian and she is feeling confident about the fight and means she knows how to beat the IBF champion. This will be the forth belt for Maria to win.

She would have preferred to box in Germany or Denmark, but it is no problem for Maria to go to Buenos AIres and fight.
