Ceylan vs Montilla at 13.04.2013 in Frederikshavn, Denmark

Dennis Ceylan (4-0, 2 KOs) will fight Cristian Montilla (3-3, 2 KOs) at the Nordic Fight Night in Frederikshavn on April 13.

The 24-year-old top Danish prospect comes off a spectacular flash KO victory over Marco Scalia in Esbjerg. “I might need some more time against Montilla, but I will definitely beat him,” Ceylan said. “I´m hungry for more wins.”

WBA, WBC & WBO Female Welterweight Champion Cecilia Braekhus will be defending her titles against American challenger Mia St. John, while unbeaten youngsters Erik Skoglund and Luke Blackledge will collide for the WBC Youth World Light Heavyweight Title. Torben Keller and Micki Nielsen will also be flying the flag for Denmark, with Swedish amateur star Anthony Yigit making his professional debut. Tim-Robin Lihaug and Oscar Ahlin will add another chapter to the Norwegian-Swedish rivalry.

Rudy Markussen injured, no fight at 13.04.2013

A neck injury has forced Rudy Markussen to pull out of the next Nordic Fight Night in Frederikshavn. The Hardhitter was slated to take on Luke Blackledge at Arena Nord on April 13.

“It´s a pity that Rudy can´t fight,” promoter Nisse Sauerland said. “We wish him a speedy recovery.” The Nordic Fight Night will go ahead as planned. “We´ll still have an exciting card featuring the very best of Nordic boxing,” Sauerland added. “We will announce more fights and all opponents shortly.”

Torben Keller, Dennis Ceylan and Micki Nielsen will be flying the flag for Denmark, while WBA, WBC & WBO Female Welterweight Champion Cecilia Braekhus will once again attract a huge Norwegian crowd for her defence against American challenger Mia St. John. Swedish amateur star Anthony Yigit will make his pro debut, with Erik Skoglund looking for his 16th victory in as many fights. Furthermore, Tim-Robin Lihaug and Oscar Ahlin will add another chapter to the Norwegian-Swedish rivalry. Tickets are available at http://www.arenanord.dk.

Özen gets revenge at 13.04.2013 in Frederikshavn

Ismail Özen will take revenge at 13.04.2013. Even as he had pains in his back, he didn´t want to cancel the fight in Esbjerg. The result was not positive, he lost the fight. In Frederikshavn will Özen meet Obeslo again in a rematch.

At the 09.03.2013 will Özen be in the ring in Hamburg at the CU Arena in Harburg.

The Nordic Fight Night will once again feature the very best of Nordic boxing, with further fights announced shortly. Tickets are on sale at http://www.arenanord.dk.
