Maria Lindberg aiming the forth title

The Swedish light middleweight boxer Maria Lindberg, World Champion of GBU, WIBF and WIBA is focusing on further titles.

Maria Lindberg, 11(5)-1-2, is living in Hamburg, Germany, and expecting her next fight in May 2015. It seems to be a title fight for her coming up. In Hamburg she has found a coach she is feeling very comfortable to train with, Artur Grigorian. Artur, a former box champion does understand Maria´s style of boxing and is adding some ideas to raise her performance.

To go down one weight class and to fight Cecilia Braekhus is Maria´s aim in the first line. Hopefully it can take place in 2015.

Further would Maria love to fight the WBC champion Mikaela Laurén, who has the same weight class as Maria. A fight would be very possible to arrange in Germany. The Swedish Boxing Federation has banned Maria for an accident happened over 11 years ago. Every year has Maria been checked and she has her license from BDB, Germany, since over seven years. She has made several fights and over 1000 rounds of sparring without any accident or medical problems. Maria is top fit and trains hard every day.

The loss against Christina Hammer in a weight class higher is disturbing Maria´s record and she is still waiting of a rematch against champion Christina Hammer.

Maria Lindberg has her aims and her focus in boxing. This boxer is now living her life: to box!

Nicole Wesner (Austria) vs Gina Chamie (Hungary)

Wesner tried to take control of the fight from the start and dominated after round 1 with good combinations.

Round 1: Close round with a slight advantage for Wesner

Round 2: Wesner gets stronger by the second and brought Chamie close to defeat

Round 3: After 1:57 Wesner managed to land the deciding punch which KO’s Chamie

Winner: Nicole Wesner

Barakat was by far the better technical boxer and was victorious by KO in round 3.

Title 2:

GBU Continental title fight 76,20 kg / 168 lbs

Okorie Innocent (Ger/Nigeria) vs Adil Rusidi (Ger/Albania)

The Nigerian Innocent dominated from the start and upped the pressure every round.

Winner by TKO in round 3; Okorie Innocent.

Maria Lindberg (Sweden) vs Mirjana Vujic (Serbia)

Lindberg showed that the (controversial) stoppage of Mirjana Vujic last month was no fluke. This time around she beat Vujic by TKO in round 4 to retain her titles!

Leon Harth (Ger) vs Istvan Bobis (Hungary)

Leon Harth made it a short night by stopping Istvan Bobis after 1 minute and 59 seconds in round one.

GBU-superstar Vincent Feigenbutz scored his 17nd KO in a row by stoppin Hungarian Istvan Bobis after 119 seconds in round one!

After this amazing night of boxing we are curious what Fächer Sport Management has in store for us
