Denis Boytsov: I am ready for Klitschko

Denis Boytsov has now got a second coach, the new head coach at Universum Box Promotion Anthony Brooks.

He will even train together with Artur Grigorian who brought Denis to Universum in Hamburg some years ago. Artur and Denis do know each other pretty well and have no intentions to end working together. Denis Boytsovs hand is in order, no problem with it anymore since a while.

– I am ready for the Klitschkos now. I have fought a lot of boxers and I am now placed on the top in most rankings. To fight Vitali Klitschko it seems to give no opportunities. Vitali will fight Manuel Charr in September. I see that he will win this fight to 100%. Then next year he will fight David Haye and Shannon Briggs, then it was. Vitali is ending his career.

My focus is on a bout against Wladimir. He cannot run away from me, I am on the top in all rankings and it would be nice to get a fight against him.

Denis rate his chances to beat Wladimir Klitschko to 50%. That sounds very realistic and without any overtuned promotions that he will destroy him or is the one who will knock-out and cut the head of Klitschko.

The opponents of Wladimir Klitschko is time to be someone with qualities, which we have missed the last times. Mormeck was definitly not the hardhitting boxer, but Denis Boytsov is absolutly hard-hitting. Will the bout be realized in 2013?

Anthony Brooks: new coach of Universum Box Promotion

Anthony Brooks was born in Washington D.C.

He joined the Army and  boxed in the army. 39 times he went into the ring and left it with 38 wins. In the 70ies he came to Germany, Schwäbisch Gmund.
Tony has been active in Stuttgart as coach. He worked with youths and drilled them like in the army. That is the way he will do it at Universum, too. He expects the boxers to be in the gym at 7 am, lately beginning at 7.30h. The days are ending at 8 pm, and so it goes on six days a week for a professional boxer. The free day, it is supposed they go swimming or something else of their own.
Tony will be the head coach and he will take care about 5-6 boxers. Under his command will Rakhim Chakhkiev, Ina Menzer and Karoly Balzsay be, so even Denis Boytsov. Denis came to UBP through Artur Grigorian, so Denis will of course stay with Artur and join the training together with Tony and Artur.
In a week or two we will get to know who will be the second new coach at UBP.
Waldemar Kluch, the boss of UBP, is at the moment at the Olympics in London. Contracts should have been done with three new boxers. Further information about the situation at UBP we will get to know very soon.
