Statement from FLB concerning Haye vs Chisora-fight

Statement From the Luxembourg Boxing Federation

The Luxembourg Boxing Federation and a number of licence holders have today issued legal proceedings against the British Boxing Board of Control in relation to its behaviour over the Haye v Chisora fight on 14 July 2012. This is not something anyone wanted to do and neither is it a step we took lightly, but we felt we were left with no option.
We have issued proceedings to prevent the Board from intimidating its own members into not participating in the fight. The Board has admitted that it can do nothing legally to stop the fight but it is still threatening to call its licence-holders to account for their involvement.

The fight is going ahead on 14 July and over 28,000 tickets have been sold. This is a fight that the public want to see and is being broadcast live in the UK on BoxNation, EPIX in America, Sky Germany and in more the 60 countries.

Mike Tyson in the corner in Moscow at Klitschko-fight?

At least Klitschko announced that the bout with Vitali Klitschko before the ukrainian elcetions will take place in Moscow. The date is 8th September 2012 and the opponent is Manuel Charr.

The Diamond Boy, Manuel Charr, told before about his plans to engage Mike Tyson as his coach for his bout against Vitali Klitschko. From Manuel Charr nothing is impossible. Only to win against Vitali Klitschko seems to be a mission impossible.

In Moscow it will be Ivan Klitschko vs Rocky Charr II at 08.09.2012, said Manuel.

WBC News: DeMarco vs Estrada cancelled

Tony DeMarco vs Estrada was cancelled.
Due to unexpected circumstances in paperwork the second defense of the WBC lightweight champion Mexican Antonio DeMarco against Daniel “Tremendo” Estrada was cancelled.
This clash had no venue and it was scheduled to take place on July 28. President of Baja Boxing, Antonio Lozada who promotes DeMarco, said that the bout was cancelled because administrative problems.
