WBA Intercontinental Middleweight Champion Patrick Nielsen (16-0, 8 KOs) will return to the ring on November 10 when the Nordic Fight Night hits Helsinki. After his victory over Jose Yebes in Frederikshavn on September 22, the 21-year-old rising middleweight will take on an opponent to be announced soon. Danish Olympian Dennis Ceylan (1-0, 1 KO), who celebrated a spectacular pro debut last month, will also be in action, just like Micki Nielsen (3-0, 3 KOs). In the Finnish main event at Helsingin Jäähalli, undefeated former European Heavyweight Champion Robert Helenius (17-0, 11 KOs), nicknamed “The Nordic Nightmare”, makes his comeback from shoulder surgery. “Helsinki is a great place for boxing,” promoter Nisse Sauerland said. “Robert set an indoor attendance record at Hartwall Areena when he fought Dereck Chisora last December. He is a huge hit with the fans an

Leif Larsen won TKO R5 against Jason Gavern in Madrid

Instead of the planed bout against Odlanier Solis became the norwegian Viking to fight vs Jason Gavern, 21(10)-11(4)-4. In Norway Leif has been doing sparring with Konstantin Airich and after that the team of Solis cancelled the fight. That Leif is a hardhitting boxer did Jason get to know. Jason is now concedering to end his boxing-carreer.

Timor Khalil, Promoter und Trainer bei Khalil BoxPromotion in Essen, hat sich entschieden und wechselt zum BDF, Bund Deutscher Faustkämpfer. „Das ist ein seriöser Verband und ich bin froh, dass wir nun Partner sind und in Zukunft zusammen veranstalten.“ so Timor Khalil. Der bekannte Promoter hat zur Zeit sieben Boxer unter Vertrag und richtet jährlich vier Veranstaltungen aus. Damit diese gut organisiert werden, hat er sich für den BDF entschieden.  „Ich vertraue Jimmy und Artur Ellensohn – es wird eine gute und fruchtbare Zusammenarbeit“ meint Timor Khalil.
Eingefädelt hat den Wechsel Jimmy Jamal Abboud, der sichtlich über die Zusammenarbeit erfreut ist: „Wir haben jetzt einen weiteren starken Partner an unserer Seite, das ist ein schönes Gefühl,“ so der Repräsentant des BDF. „Wir stehen für Vertrauen und Respekt,“ so Jimmy Jamal Abboud „und wer will, dem  helfen wir gern.“ Ein Signal an andere Veranstalter und Promoter sich dem neuen deutschen Verband anzuschließen. „Wir stehen jederzeit für Gespräche zur Verfügung,“ so Jimmy Jamal Abboud.
