A neck injury has forced Rudy Markussen to pull out of the next Nordic Fight Night in Frederikshavn. The Hardhitter was slated to take on Luke Blackledge at Arena Nord on April 13.

“It´s a pity that Rudy can´t fight,” promoter Nisse Sauerland said. “We wish him a speedy recovery.” The Nordic Fight Night will go ahead as planned. “We´ll still have an exciting card featuring the very best of Nordic boxing,” Sauerland added. “We will announce more fights and all opponents shortly.”

Torben Keller, Dennis Ceylan and Micki Nielsen will be flying the flag for Denmark, while WBA, WBC & WBO Female Welterweight Champion Cecilia Braekhus will once again attract a huge Norwegian crowd for her defence against American challenger Mia St. John. Swedish amateur star Anthony Yigit will make his pro debut, with Erik Skoglund looking for his 16th victory in as many fights. Furthermore, Tim-Robin Lihaug and Oscar Ahlin will add another chapter to the Norwegian-Swedish rivalry. Tickets are available at http://www.arenanord.dk.
