Maria Lindberg, World Champion of WIBF, GBU and WIBA in super welter/light middle-weight, is ready to fight Cecilia Braekhus. Cecilia is considering to change weight-class, so why not change to super welter. Even two years ago Maria said she is ready for Cecilia. The Norwegian Champion has met almost every female boxer and plans to change weight-class. This can be a great oppurtunity to see two excellent boxers in the ring. A very high class fight.
On the 25.07.2015 will Maria fight in Hamburg. Last bout Maria had an opponent with lot more weight then herself. Even this time is Maria prepared to meet a boxer with a weight of 76 kg. The opponent in discussion seems to have a weight right now of almost 80 kg and a positive record. This risk is Maria willing to take.
– I want to fight the best female boxers in the world. Let it be Cecilia Braekhus, Hanna Gabriel, Mikalea Laurén, Casalinuovo or a rematch against Chrisitna Hammer. Even Nikki Adler I would be ready to fight.
These boxers will be boxing title fights and Maria Lindberg just want to go in the ring and meet them. A very tough fighter is Maria. Let´s hope to see some great title fights with Lindberg very soon.
